Youth parliament is conducted with the objective of creating awareness about politics among the students in the country. As one of the judges pointed out in his introductory speech, ”Indian students nowadays aspire to become either a doctor or engineer. This youth parliament shows that even politics can be taken up as a career option”
Another aim of conducting youth parliament is to represent an ideal parliament – where people’s concern are taken notice of and solutions are found with adequate consultation and discussion.
